RESEARCH AND PLANNING

MIND MAPPING, SCENE DIVISION, STORY BOARDING

MIND MAPPING

In this mind map I decided to make a planning about the props the scenario of the story, the costume required and the equipment like camera stand, just in case. I made a whole planning about the props which included bread, knife, makeup for making marks on her face and body, juice, tray, fork, etc.

SCENE DIVISION

STORYBOARDING

In storyboarding, I decided to build up how each scene would be shown while shooting, just a little glimpse of it.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The audience I am targeting are mostly teenagers, young adults, rich people  that consider themselves perfect and others to be like them as well. It provides a greater impact on the young generation on to seeing films made like these. It refers to a child being abused or a maid being abused or a child labor being abused, which is very common in countries like Pakistan and India. Perhaps, stories like these can prove to be a negative impact around, but we need to understand the fact that mistakes do occur, and they can occur by everyone, because nobody is a robot or perfect.

I refrained from adding violence and cut the violence scene as it seemed very disturbing, to me and the audience. These kind of films are mostly watched by young adults or teenagers, who tend to recognize the negative impact of child abuse as well as older people and parents. It can be very hurtful or harmful to abuse anyone in any way because the person may self-harm or suicide of any kind of abuse they receive. So this video may not stop someone from child abuse but it can at least make them feel what Child Abuse could be like? so we should stop abuse in any form and raise awareness regarding these kind of social issues in society.

MY CAST

MEET my younger sister, Mariam Rizwan, in class 6, 12 years old and 4'8ft who is the only character and the main lead in the film. Her role is of a Child Labor who gets abused by her master for a small mistake which leads her to take the most unfortunate step, in her life by holding the knife, no one knows what happens later!!!

GENRE ANALYSIS

The opening scene I made "ENOUGH", is related to Child Labor Abuse. It is based on the category of a film, as it is Non-fiction and it tends to happen in real life as well. It is related to domestic films that also serve other various day-to-day social issues in a society.

All kinds of films involved in Non-fiction filmmaking are in form of films that provide a wider sense of storytelling, as it is linked with characters who represent different genres or characters. These films can also be portrayed in the form of novels or books or sad songs maybe. It can target people who visualize things differently either in a form of book, movie or drama maybe.

MY UMBRELLA COMPANY

20th CENTURY FOX STUDIO
The reason why I choose this production company is mainly because of it portrays social issues specifically so there would be a wide range of audience watching my film. Moreover, production companies such as Walt Disney mostly portray comedy films consisting of laughter and jokes, so it was not suitable for me to use that to portray my film. The genre of my film is based on a young girl and it evolves around the audience of having different perspectives of the girl some might be against her while some might support her. That could be clearly understood by watching the entire film completely so it gives the audience a basic idea about what exactly the film is about. This would clear confusion of many of them and perhaps would know in a deeper thought the main genre of the film.

20th Century Studios known as 20th Century Fox until 2020. It is an American film production studio headquartered at the Fox Studio Lot in the Century City area Los Angeles and is a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Motion Pictures distributes and markets the films made under the 20th Century Studios brand.
